Solar panels, reducing plastic use in construction, and using local materials and locally made products in the hut’s interiors. Lighting inside the huts are designed and placed thoughtfully to illuminate and give style and clarity to life.

Proper insulation keeps you comfortable, and is also better for the environment. oceanHUTS are designed smart with back-ventilated Viroc facades on the north and wooden lamellar on the east and west exteriors. This provides an optimally healthy indoor climate, regulating temperature and humidity, air circulation and air purity. An underfloor heating system gives you warmth where and how you need it, without wasting resources.
Grow where you are planted. In the oceanHUTS gardens, native plants save water, and give the eye and spirit the best of what grows here beautifully, naturally. The Atlantic Ocean climate and Portuguese sunshine provide life for plants and flowers that blossom and grow all through the seasons.
